V = (4/3) pi R^3 = (4/3) pi (D/2)^3
so, if
V = 3 litres = 0.003 m^3,
then
(4/3) pi (D/2)^3 = 3 . 10^(-3) m^3
D = 2 ( 9/4pi . 10^(-3) )^(1/3) (so the cubic root)
D # 1.789 . 10^(-1) m so
D # 17.9 cm
hope it' ll help !!

Should be: d = (10*18^(1/3))/pi^(1/3) ~ 17.89400457879299 cm
