I have owned the car for 2 years (a Mitsubishi shogun 3.2 DiD equippe). It has the driver and front passenger seat, three comfortably large seats in the middle and 2 small seats in the back. All seats have working 3 point harnesses. Just after buying the car I mislaid the registration document and have just got a new one. Whilst looking at it I noticed under the vehicle details it says 'Number of seats including driver: 2'.

What does this mean? When I get an insurance quote and give them my reg number they know it's a 7 seater straight away. Does this mean it's illegal to carry more passengers? Could this just be a mistake?

I am upgrading my laptop to windows 8 and looking into it I see it's 64 bit compatible even though it's only using a 32 bit o/s at the moment. Are there pros to having a 64 bit or should I stick to 32?

Obviously it tells me not to power off my machine and the last thing I want to do is corrupt my OS.

Any advice from someone in the know would be appreciated...

I've just been out and bought a 17 inch collar and squeeeeezed into it but the rest of the shirt swims on me.... I look like I'm wearing a hand me down. Where would I be able to find a shirt to fit in the UK, especially at such short notice...

I know this'll make some people mad but this is a serious question. I don't plan on kicking her to death or anything. I will dispatch her humanely, much in the same way most pastoral farm animals are done. I was just wondering if here in the UK there were any laws stopping me doing so.

I have found a private beach and the owner and I have come to an agreement. I have worked out capital and publicity but I don't know what step to take next. Do I need permission from the local council? Do I need to pay them business rates as I'm not in a commercial premises as such- just on the beach?

I have an 18 month old Dogue de Bordeaux.

The problem is she gets real nasty ear wax. A few months ago she had an ear infection and the vet gave her a course of antibiotics and told us to clean the ears out with a drop of olive oil. This cleared the redness and swelling nicely but ever since she gets thick, dark brown wax. The Mrs can clean the ears one night but 2 days later they are full again.

I know dogs with floppy ears are prone to wax but isn't this a little extreme?

A friend was telling me today that he recently saw a show in which Jamie Oliver did a load of cooking using primitive methods. It was on about 3 weeks ago but he has no idea what the name was or what channel it was on. Google draws a blank also. Any ideas??

I have had the skype app on my iPhone for ages but have only recently wanted to use it. Is it free for me to use over wifi? What are skype credits for? It says I don't have a skype number? Do I need one? How do I get one?

I have recently got into buying puzzle games like the two mentioned above but can't seem to find anymore. I also have Bejewelled, Peggle and Hexic but these don't really tickle my fancy.

I'm just looking for something with 2D graphics- quite cartoony, that takes a little strategy.

I have just signed a tenancy agreement with the local housing association. It is a preliminary Assured Shorthold Tenancy for 12 months leading to an Assured Tenancy after that period. The whole process has been rushed. I was given a very brief amount of time yesterday to view the property and was put on the spot to make a decision as to whether I wanted to accept the property or not. I chose to and was handed a tenancy agreement there and then to sign which I did. I have just picked the keys up today and spent a little bit of time measuring the rooms. The problem is it is utterly unsuitable for my family. The rooms are tiny and none of my furniture is going to fit. There is also no gas supply in the kitchen for my gas cooker. I don't want to live there. The house is horrible and so is the area it's in.

Do I have any legal right to cancel the tenancy agreement?

Please note that I am in the UK.
