Any family friendly Anime like Ghibli?
My family and I have enjoyed everything Ghibli have ever made. Anyone got any other recommendations for something similar. Must be family friendly but nothing too cutesy like Kilala or anything like Pokemon or Beyblade.
Just stuff like Totoro, Ponyo and spirited away.

Howl's Moving Castle
Sailor Moon (Series, and English dub was discontinued but hey, it's a classic. And it isn't TOO cutesy. Might want to stick to the movies if you wanna avoid too much girly drama)
CLANNAD (Again, a series. But it's good.)
Toriko (Another series.Very funny, and I highly recommend it. Enough fighting to keep you interested, but isn't gory or anything.)
Arrietty (I'm not sure about this one, but it's supposed to be sweet and it's kid friendly. Not really cutesy like Pokemon.)
Dragon Ball Z (Dragon Ball Z Kai would be preferable if you have small kids watching.)

Full Metal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa
Grave of Fireflies (Good, but it's kinda depressing)
Karas: The Prophecy (Very good. It's an old anime and there is some gore. However the sequel has more gore and profanity)

Aaand that's all i can come up with. Though I do recommend the Pokemon Movie, even though hat's not what you're looking for. There's action, drama, and it can still make me cry even though I've been watching it for 11 years. xD

My mom has a similar issues, so it grow to be confusing 2 watch it w/ her. She stated no to culmination Basket plenty, too. Ouran severe college Host membership might probable be a no for ur mom, by way of fact there are gays, bys, and transvestites. (that's why my mom won't enable me watch it.) Whistle! is a competent one, a minimum of the books are. there is not any longer something irrelevant in it, so the anime willl maximum probable be sparkling. There wasn't any cussing, however the anime could desire to have gentle language. Cardcaptor Sakura is likewise a tremendous sparkling series. the only element ur mom could desire to unlike is that somebody doesnt have a gender. (they are no longer a toddler.) Naruto shippuden is likewise a sparkling one, and that's on Disney XD, so that's stable. Pokemon is likewise stable. specific A is a competent one 2. wish I helped, stable luck!
