Honda Civic Door Window Motor Dying, what to do?

2000 Civic LX, driver side winnow is having problems going up, on the brink of winter. What to do? I think my motor is dying!

It goes down perfectly but really struggles coming up. I don't want to spend too much, any suggestions?

Call your local auto salvage yards for a price on a used window motor.

How cheap do you want to go?Disable the switch by pulling the fuse.Swap the motor from the left rear door.Take apart the left rear door and study how it works. The window will stick down on the coldest day of the year. When the cop says lower your window and then nothing you will taste the lash.America is an orchard of bad apples and a church full of Borgias.

The cheapest repair would be to close it and never open it again. Otherwise I think you have to remove the interior door trim and replace the motor.
