You will be able to vote in most States. You just have to turn in your voter registration before the deadline and I would do it in person. I remember at my one High School they would hand out voter registration to all of the Seniors who would be eligible to vote in the November elections so they can do this. I live in Ohio, but I am sure that all States have rules in place to handle this. I would wait until the Summer of 2016 to take care of this though.

In my state, you can register 2 months before you turn 18 if you'll be 18 on or before election day. Fortunately you have plenty of time to check the registration requirements in your state.
