Despite Early Problems Why Is Obamacare Gaining Popularity?

The Reuters poll shows Obamacare going up from 37% to 42% in the last month, while it's up to 47% in this poll. I thought people were supposed to hate it, so why is it getting more popular? http://thehill.com/blogs/healthwatch/health-reform...

Update:

So what, Danny? Both of those polls are not left-wing.

I still hate Obamacare. They should go with the Affordable Care Act instead.

  • According to Gallup's latest daily tracking poll, which was conducted Saturday through Monday and released Tuesday afternoon, 39 percent of Americans approve of the job the president's doing in the White House, with 53 percent saying they disapprove. There is no possible way Obama care can have an increasing approval rating while Obama's numbers are declining.

    So you like political propaganda.

    And you believe it.

Propaganda is the key word here.

I think we ought to have a universal health care system like Canada or the United Kingdom. It would be overall less expensive and at least as high quality as health care that can be bought by those who can afford it in the United States.

Congress and the President believe they should be paid for the rest of their lives often for little more than having been able to get elected. Once elected they typically work for those who donate the most to them or their party--fabulously wealthy corporations.

For the current Administration and his party, those corporate interests include health care insurance corporations, although activist corporations are likely to contribute to both parties.

The Democrats believe we ought to be forced to purchase health care insurance from private companies and that people who cannot afford that, too bad for them: they receive a fine.

The Republicans apparently believe we do not deserve health care insurance unless we can afford it, certainly not be forced to purchase it.

But both the Democrats and Republicans in Congress believe they deserve health care insurance and that we ought to pay for it. Congress never asks the rest of us how much we want to pay them. They decide that in Congress and send the bill to us. They always decide to pay themselves enough to purchase the best health care insurance they can buy from a plan they arranged for themselves.

What we get from Congress and the President in return for our taxes is not universal health care but platitudes and sometimes favoritism to ethnocentric special interest groups that can deliver votes. Meanwhile millions of citizens go without health care insurance.

It isn't. Your first mistake was trusting a poll from Reuters.

If there's any truth to that poll, it's probably only due to people in the 6 or 8 states who'll save money under the ACA. And they probably took the poll exclusively there.

The rest of the nation abhors this Godzilla.

Lance, are you aware that "Obama care" and the affordable health care act are one in the same?

It was just reported yesterday that his numbers are tanking into the 30's. What bullsh*t blog are you getting your news from?

Because it's great legislation. Even before the exchanges opened, tens of millions of Americans had received benefits. Conservatives hate that.

Rich Republicans are liars, so people figure it must be the opposite of the commie catastrophe the Fox News calls it. Also, its a well known fact that racist country bumpkins are the biggest Teabaggers.

Source(s): I live in Indep, Mo., so I see TEA baggers all over. Every last one of them is an ignoramous. Racist too.

For most people you have to buy it before you know what is in it.
