Should I take these a level subjects?

I'm wondering if I should take English Language and English Literature combined, History & Film Studies. I'm thinking - will it be a lot of work? Are they respectable, good & not too difficult subjects? :)

Yes you should if you love the subjects and if you want to do them then yes. Looking at them they go really well with eachother and work very well with eachother.

All A-Levels are loads and loads of work and going to be difficult, that's just A-Levels for you. If you really want something you are doing to have to work hard for it, any A-Level is going to be hard work. Ask the teachers in your school and they will say out of everything they did themselves, from GCSEs, A-Levels, degrees, PHDs, etc. that A-Level is the most hardest work. trust me they will help and that shows that its true.

Yes they are respectable, but at the end of the day it`s about what you love and really not about what other people think of your subject that you have taken. For example for people whom have taken A-Level Dance, Drama, Art or BTECS people often think that they`re are useless subjects and that they are not needed; To be honest you should not care what others think of you and your subject choices at all. As long as your happy about it and love it, who cares what other people think of you!!

They are good subjects if you enjoy them yes, if you don't then know. You cant tell if a subject is good or not, it literally depends on you and what you are into. Everybody is going to have different opinions on it, some people hate it, others love it.

I`m sorry if i have frightened you a little bit, im just being realistic about all of it and from my experience and others experiences such as others around me as my friends. I hope this helps you loads :) xx
