I spilled a small amount of gas in the trunk of my car. Does anyone know how to get the smell out ?

I have tried baking soda but did not work.

    The liner (like carpet) on the bottom will come out... it should be just set in. Let that puppy air out for at least a week before you put it back. Gasoline is a powerful smell.

    You could try shampooing the carpet in the trunk, or using the carpet cleaner at a self serve car wash.

    The other alternative is to leave the trunk open (when parked in a secure area) and let it air out

    It should dissipate in short time. Gasoline has a very high evaporation rate and I can't imagine the smell lasting too long,

    let it dry out will be gone in 10 mins
