Poll: While having sex have you ever said or called out someone else's name?
I asked about 12 people at work this question and I was amazed that I got 8 yes answers. I have even done it. One guy at work called his girl two different names in the same night. He actually regretted it as it was someone he had feelings for, but they'd been drinking.
Anyhow, have you ever done this? What happened?

To my knowledge, I haven't done that yet. Which isn't to say that it hasn't happened, just that I don't recall it; and stranger things have happened after late nights at some of the bars I used to frequent in college.
The phenomenon that I think you're referring to is coloquially known as "rodeo sex," wherein you call out a name different from the name of the person you're sleeping with and then try to hang on for eight seconds.
As I don't want to find myself clinging to a cieling fan and praying for clowns to rush in to divert homicidal rage, I make the name of the person I'm sleeping with a mantra long before the clothes start coming off.
If I want to perform in a rodeo again, I'll go back to riding bulls or winning bets with bucking machines. And the bedroom isn't a place for a rodeo, unless your into that kind of thing.

Of course I've called out someone else's name. It would be kind of narcissistic to call out your own name, wouldn't it?

Nope - that's one of the benefit of only ever having had sex with your spouse. ;*)
