I don't think its harsh if he's guilty. Where is the line drawn if you can grab officials by the throat and get away with a slap on the wrists? It's the beginning of a slippery slope for the game if this is not treated as a serious offence.

he allegedly grabbed a linesman by the throat rob...i think. 16 games thats a whopper! prob would av been better off killing him as you say falgee n taking his chances at the high court, prob get a lighter sentence

bit harsh ,but shouldn't have touched official ,suppose they have to show willing to protect refs etc .
