4 AnswersScottish Football5 years agorangers kno.. i mean leg end, ex dundee united supporter and fintry sham Derek Johnstone slams Stephen Thompson over Ibrox controversy?
He thinks the SFA should throw the book at the united chairman for bringing the game into disrepute. I agree, it's all Thompson's fault and he should be strung up like a pinata and battered to death by a flute band.
2 AnswersScottish Football7 years agoWhat's all this about people 'hiding' in shipyards during the war?
Surely working in a shipyard (like working as a miner) was crucial to the war effort. I don't like this white feather mentality, where men and women who did not fight on the front line are branded as 'cowards'. You could as easily call the ones who volunteered for active service as cannon fodder 'idiots'. I've only been back on here for a week and I've seen it a few times.

6 AnswersScottish Football (Soccer)8 years agoPeter Houston leaves Utd by 'mutual consent'?
United's most successful manager since Wee Jum, consistent top half finishes, three european 'campaigns'... on paper his record is no bad. Still most Arabs I know are breathing a sigh of relief, there was always the feeling that his heart wasn't in it, and that he was holding us back.
So, who next for the United job? Steven Pressley, jackie McNamara, Mixu Patelainen, Michael O neill, Paul Hartley, Gary Bollan...?

And as a supplement, what is your favourite Dundee derby of all time? The Dens park massacre, the league cup final, or the 14th May 1983? BONUS POINTS if you can think of one that the Dark Blues won.

The statement from the rangers supporters assembly on Tuesday. Do you think Gers fans failure to turn up for away games against clubs who have been 'actively engaged in trying to harm Rangers' is an effective show of strength?
