terrorism barriers around monument?
just recently watching the history, channel i saw that the park service had placed " terrorism barriers" around the washington monument, our illustrious, president obama stated " terrorism is dead", if thats the case then why do we need barriers?

Because it's obvious that high-ranking officials within the American federal goverment (being advised by a criminal cabal) consider the American people to be "the terrorists."

Law, those barriers have been up far longer that you might imagine - post 9-11, I believe. And this is true all over the country. For example, I was in St. Louis the day of the attacks and was told by a park ranger to move away from the Arch grounds. (Fear of attack, I later learned.) There are now barriers and higher security there, too. Missouri's state capital and some office buildings have such barriers as well ... and those are just a few examples. If we are wise, as the Israelis seem to be, we know that terrorism may be dead, but we must always be alert for a reincarnation.

The terrorist barriers at the Washington monument are very well executed and hardly noticable, unlike some of the US Government buildings. It is a very tasteful wall, built about waist high, on the sloping grounds of the monument. It is there to prevent vehicles from driving up to the monument and exploding. From a distance you can't even see them.
