If aliens invaded earth with hostility..?

If aliens had the technology to travel all the way to our planet I suspect they would have the technology to take us out with ease.

Movies like "The Host" and "Independence Day" like to portray the human spirit that overcomes outrageous odds, but seriously that just makes for a good movie. When one has the power, knowledge and technology to take out or enslave an entire planet / race, they aren't going to come and give enough time for the planet to come together, rally, form alliances and over come.

It would be wham, bam, boom, GAME OVER!

Planet earth would lose!
