Why is there a supression of spiritual knowledge?

So that most of us don't think for ourselves, or see that there is another side to reality.

What "spiritual" knowledge is being suppressed and who is supposed to be doing the suppressing? You are free to believe in what ever religion you choose! That's why it's called faith. What the rest of us don't like is when you try and shove it down our throats as being "real" and "unquestionable"

Because conquering religions destroyed a lot of spiritual knowledge. The christianity being practiced today was not the christianity being practice 100 years ago.

Its supposed to happen. Once all spiritual knowledge is gone and there's no word of God left in this world, then the world will come to an end.

Apparently it can't be measured by the controlled conditions set for an unimaginative Lab' Technician, so there is indeed much pessimism surrounding paranormal phenomena. Unless we experience Supernatural phenomena others may struggle with such knowledge.

I am not oppressing my senses in this field.....

Because most preachers today are preaching a false prosperity gospel. And as Paul predicted, people listen to it because they want their ears tickled, that is to say, they want some wolf in sheep's clothing to tell them they don't have to take up their cross to follow Christ.

You might want to give some examples of what you're talking about because it's not at all clear.

How can you tell the 'spiritual knowledge' from the regular horseshit?

Science has never tried to censor the church. Think about that one.
