Mighty hi-tec Japan is returning to fossil fuels.?

Mighty hi-tec Japan is returning to fossil fuels.

They admit that Global Warming has been exaggerated, where now for the warmies? Is it only Prime Minister Cameron who clings to this outmoded and outdated view?

Yet another (After Germany) nail in the coffin of the socialist lie?

They didn't say global warming is exaggerated. Only that they do not agree to cuts from a 1990 baseline, and instead are using a 2005 baseline, which results in a small emissions increase rather than a decrease. Japan's population is in long term decline so they will be able to reduce emissions. However, with the Fukushima plant disaster, nuclear is in decline, and they are having trouble meeting their long term emissions reduction commitments.

Don't be so astonished, most countries still rely by and far on fossil fuels to generate electricity. You were not expecting wind or solar to do that for all of us did you? As you know, in Japan, after Fukishima, the choice or returning to nuclear is very hard and a very difficult political sell. It will be done but there is still plenty of work to be undertaken to make it safer. You don't have to reverse your position on the effects of man-made anthropogenic global warming to go back to coal. There is no 'global warming or climate change'. All a big hoax I'm afraid. You have to put scrubbers on your coal stacks as it is soot that worries people and of course, looks bad and pollutes. Carbon dioxide is colorless and it is a very small part of all gas emissions. Besides, it's very good for plants. They love the stuff.

I think most people realize that the threat of man made global warming has been highly exaggerated. I am very pleased to see that Japan is revising it's CO2 emission targets. It is a step in the right direction. I'm hopeful that in a few more decades, every nation will completely ignore alarmists.

<<They admit that Global Warming has been exaggerated<<

No – they admit that their nuclear industry got whacked and they cannot meet the standards of reduction they agreed to, They are still trying to reduce their contribution to atmospheric CO2 - which, in itself, contradicts your stupid lie.

the fact that our wind storms are getting stronger, our winters seem to be getting longer, ice is melting , where it shouldbt be, and we all have asthma isnt enough reason to suspect there is a problem somplace?

the water alone on this planet is a wreck
