Why Hockey is our National Game?

Indian govt spend more money to cricket alone but still hockey is our national game...

Y what s the reason for this?

No one care about Hockey game and the players..very shame,,

    No he means field hockey, the National game of India

    Hockey is the national game of India; however, cricket is now the most popular sport. Since 1928, India has won 8 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze Olympic medals, although one has not been won since 1960. Cricket is one of the few sports that India is competitive with other teams in the world, which might explain the mania it inspires.

    because hockey stick is multipurpose. cricket bat is only for game.
