Direct deposit. From one bank to another?

I have already had direct deposit at work but I switched it at work from one bank to another. Do you think it will go into effect immediately? I changed it on Thursday & the pay period ends today (Sunday) and we get paid next Thursday

    Ask the person at work that handles this... Only he/she can know whether they got the paperwork in in time to do it for this coming pay period.

    We aren't magicians... there are some questions where you simply need to ask the person that handles that particular issue.
