I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Okay, this is going to be long and possibly a little confusing, but I'll try to explain this the best I can.
To lose weight the best way, DON'T RUSH. It's way more likely that you'll gain the weight back (and maybe even more) if you go on a crazy crash diet. You should try to lose 1-2 lbs a week because that's the healthy range. To do this, you need to have what's called a calorie deficit of 500-1000 a day. What that means is that you need to burn 500-1000 calories a day that haven't been used up by food. This DOES NOT mean you have to burn 500-1000 calories by exercising every day. What you need to do is figure out your BMR. You can do that here (http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/). Your BMR is the number of calories you burn a day at rest, meaning without doing any exercise because you're ALWAYS burning calories no matter what. You need to take away 500 (to lose 1 pound a week) up to 1000 (to lose 2 pounds a week) from your BMR number. This is because one pound of fat=3500 negative calories, so taking away 500 a day for a week (7 days) it equals 3500.. You can do that by eating less OR exercising OR both (both is recommended.) But you shouldn't eat below 1200 calories a day. So, let's say for example that your BMR is about 1600. Well, you could take off 400 (1600-400=1200) from that by food, and 100 (1300-200=1100) by exercise. That would be 500 less than your BMR. OR you could do 250 for each. OR to lose 2 pounds a week, you could take away 400 from food and burn off 600 calories a day. Obviously more difficult, but you could do anywhere in between those also. This is just an example though. You have to figure out your own personal BMR.
After that, you should use those calories with mostly healthy food. If you switch to healthy food all at once, it will be easier to give in, so try and switch out one of your meals with a healthy meal every day to start out with, or something kind of like that (but still stay in your calorie range!) There's lots of articles online you can go to to learn exercises for beginners or anything you can think of really.
Another tip, if you binge (if you eat a lot of food at one time) and go way over your calorie limit for the day, DON'T think to yourself 'well I ruined my whole day, I should just give up.' You have to have the right mind set to lose weight successfully and tell yourself that it's okay if you mess up because everyone does. After it happens, just move on, and go back to your healthy eating. It'll all be worth it in the end:)

I have been losing weight my whole life with my heaviest being 360 lbs. I lost 19 lbs in 2 weeks. And even after losing most of my weight on a basic starvation diet and knee crippling exercise I knew this was the answer. I have never been below 25% BF. I have never looked as healthy as I do. I have never had the confidence that I have now. I have never felt as good as I feel.

if you want to get sick lose the weight fast if you want to lose it right do it slowly. No carbs but slow carbs, triple your protein. no sugar at all. tons of water and sweat it out sweat it off. only way. eat like a bird and eat often. no dairy at all, milk cheese etc. lean meats and for three of your meals just protein . the other two a plate of slow carbs, and the last a good snack pistachioo nuts. or a grapefruit. dancing FUN WORKOUT. WALK OFTEN WALK FIT. LIGHT WEIGHTS FOR TONING. do this for three months through the holidays and you will be off to a great start for the new year

You should eat at least 4-5 meals a day.
drink lots of water, and eat regularly. don't starve yourself, because once you start eating again, you'll gain everything back, trust me.
eat lots of fruits and veggies, and if you eat bread, make sure it's whole grain. white bread is pretty fattening. you can also eat lean meats, like fish, turkey and chicken breast. eggs also help when trying to lose weight.
skip out on sweets, candy, sugary foods, chips, ice cream, cake, and cookies.
if you feel hungry, but don't want to over eat, chew gum. it'll keep your mouth busy and it tricks yourself into thinking your eating.
cut out ALL soda! if you stop drinking soda, it helps you out a lot!
and don't forget to exercise!

Don't eat second helpings, leave off the sweets, and cut back on your carbohydrates. That is, leave off your potatoes and cut way back on bread. Get plenty of exercise. Try not to snack unless it is fruits and vegetables. Leave off your unhealthy snack especially at night before bedtime.
