What kind of motors are used on electronic exhaust cutouts, the motors that turn 90 deg only.
what are the called, or how are the controlled to only go 90 deg? is there a stopper or is it a stepper motor or is it only energized for a certain time to make a 90 deg rotation? whats the make/ model of it

1. They're called electric exhaust cutouts motors.
2. Stoppers the same way that a throttle body works.
3. Make and model, there are many types to choose from like allstar and quick time and remember the best ones are aluminum.
