CV/Resume question...help needed please?

Hello all,

I'm currently writing up my CV/Resume for a job at Waterstones. So far, I've managed to write down a brief personal statement and I was wondering if someone could have a look at it and tell me if it's alright? Does it sound OK? Any grammar mistakes etc.

Here it is:

I am a highly motivated, reliable and diligent individual, who strives to work to the best of my ability. I am of a keen mind with a strong work ethic, who is able to work well as a part of a team, as well as an individual. A quick thinker, who enjoys challenges, I am able to adapt to new and unfamiliar situations efficiently and positively. Enthusiastic, energetic and friendly, I am approachable and enjoy listening to and helping others.

And input is appreciated. Thank you :)

    Looks good.

I've read a lot of these when recruiting and don't actually take that much notice of them - it's the detail in the CV of experience and interests that is more important.

It does look good. I would pare it down a bit, and mention how you can excel in customer service.

I am a highly motivated, reliable and like a challenge, like remembering a customer's name if they come in week after week. I like pitching in on a team and doing sidework to keep busy if there is a lull. I'm enthusiastic about making the customers happy so they will like the service as much as the food.
