i dont know why my stumache aches??

hi this might be tmi but three days ago out of no where I started feeling nauseated and then was having diarrhea all that night. the next day the nausea went away but im still having diarrhea (but it calmed down a lot) and im having very light pain in my stomach and then shoots to my sides. I noticed the pain after eating an orange this morning and then again after I got mad at my kids. the pain comes and goes. I have looked up kidney stones on google but it said that I would be in a lot of pain.....I am on the nuvaring if that makes a difference...im wondering if I should go to doctors?? or is it just the flu or something minor?
