What movie can I use to show my students the role of elves at Christmas?
I am an English teacher in Japan and will have a whole school Christmas party. I would like to show the students a short clip that highlights the role elves play at Christmas and their relation to Santa. The Children are 10 and 11 years old and have a very limited understanding of English. I hope to find something showing elves helping Santa, making toys readying the reindeer.
Can you suggest a movie that has a scene like this ?

We are looking in particular at the 'mythical' characters in this part of the lesson. Elves and the flying reindeer etc.

Hi, The movie RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER has a scene with elves in it.
The elves are actually in Santa's toy shop and they are making toys and painting them. They elves are terrific in this movie clip!
It's a great clip to show your school. It's also a great movie, in case you ever want to watch the whole thing.
I hope that you decide to take my advice and show this to your school. I'm sure they will love it. I know the kids here do!!

The Santa Clause trilogy are perfect for explaining the elves and their roles. Especially Santa Clause 1.

Elf and rudolph the red nosed reindeer do and you could probably get it with subtitles in japanese

christmas is a christian religious event to commemorate the birth of jesus, I don't believe there were elves in bethlehem
