what is the actual job of a movie producer, and a music producer?
I've never understood the difference between that and a director.

- The Director is in charge of the movie/music video and directs the quality of the acting.
- The Producer handles the oversight of the product and the finances. They think more in tune with the industry and business aspect of the project (getting publicity, funding, backing, etc!)
They sort the money, locations and talent, all with their given budget. The Director then tell the actors how to say their lines, move and how to effectively play the role.
