(non-lions fans) What do you make of our team?
Here we think we got a talented team, yet these guys just can't put it together. When you think of the laughing stock of the league, do you think of the Lions? Also, what do you think our record will be at the end of the season?
We're 6-5
We got...
Green Bay
At Philly
Baltimore
Giants
At Minnesota

The Lions definitely aren't the laughing stock of the league but they are too inconsistent for me to think they can make a serious playoff run. I don't think they can win in Seattle, New Orleans or Carolina which is where they'll have to play if they can get out of the Wild Card round.
With Rodgers still not back and the Packers lackluster run defense, I think Detroit wins Thursday. They'll beat Philly in a close finish week 14. Baltimore isn't much of a road team but I could see this game as a letdown. Baltimore's defense is still quite good and will present problems for Stafford. They should beat the Giants. I mean, that pitiful secondary allowed Romo of all quarterbacks to execute a game winning drive. Minnesota will be another letdown. Detroit will lead much of the game and blow it late. So I'm thinking a 9-7 finish. I'm looking at Chicago's schedule and I see a loss at Lambeau the last week of the season and possibly losses against Dallas or at Cleveland. 2 losses for them would give Detroit the North but they have to beat Green Bay on Turkey Day.

This year when I think of the laughing stock of the league, it's not the Lions. More like, Jaguars, Buccaneers, Texans and my own team, the Browns. I feel your pain about the Lions. Neither the Browns nor the Lions have ever saw a Super Bowl.
I see you winning Green Bay, Giants and Minnesota

Looks like a pretty easy schedule..... Green Bay without Rodgers and 3 stiffs. Philly will be the toughest game.
The Lions? They've been playing the SB for almost 50 years and the Lions are one of the teams that have been elgible to play in EVERY one of them and haven't even MADE it to the game!

Eagles fan...honestly, the Lions have found a way to underachieve for so long that I expect once again that they will find a way to let down their city and fans again this year.....and it looks like they are trying to do it again. On paper, they should beat a Rodgers-less Packers, and a Giants team that will be playing for nothing, and the Vikings. I would rate the Eagles/Ravens games as a tossup. However, thats on paper. The Lions seem to lose games that they shouldnt. I can see 9-7...barely missing out on the playoffs. As an Eagles fan...its definitely a nervous game for me because they are so dangerous.

I thinks the"re a pretty good team. Not contenders but if they can avoid the seahawks they can possibly get to the super bowl. Cus aint nobody body beating the seahawks. Not even Broncos. I think the lions are much better than what Detroit gives them credit for

I thought they would compete in the playoffs.... But after the last 2 games I'd be surprised if they aren't one and done in the playoffs. So much talent on both sides of the ball, but just can't get it done. Schwartz needs to go.

I think you guys are a WR (opposite Calvin) away from actually being a SB contender.
