Got called strange for liking Asian guys?

Consider the fact that you do have Asian in you, of course you'll speak in an Asian perspective. Generally speaking, its not very common for an East Asian guy to date interracially, the media however do play a part, because they stereotype and portray East Asian guys in a negative light. I am sure there are non-East Asians would be open in dating East Asian guys but not like they are going to ask East Asian guys out just to prove some point. There are non-East Asian girls who were attracted to me and never considered the fact that I'm Asian.

You also said it there, the way you were raised. Maybe those girls were raised to have a personal preference towards white or black guys and not East/Southeast Asian guys.

How do you think those girls were raised? If you weren't Eurasian, you would probably fall into the same category as those other guys, but this road you are going down, is full of disappoint, another girl seeking some guy that doesn't understand your reasons and taste - because it is so uncommon and under appreciated by many. It is something you want but nevertheless will avoid time and time again.

Most of the mixed girls I know (I live in Texas) prefer Asian guys to white guys, and I know a LOT of mixed girls. (my daughter's mixed - I'm Asian, her mom was white). The ratio is not even close, like 10:1 in favor of Asian guys amongst mixed girls I've seen or met. Some of the ones I know personally have told me they don't find white guys attractive at all.
