Ideas for my families Christmas gifts?
Heyoo!! Happy near Thanksgiving to anybody who has yet to celebrate it!
So anyways, I have six hundred dollars to spend in total, which is great! I wish I could have gotten a job down here, but we might be moving sometime in January! (Maybe an ideal for that? ;D) We're going up North, to Maine. We're currently residing in Florida, maybe I could fit a gift into that?
My Mother is the one I want to spend the most on, I'm thinking up to $150-250 this year. She has been recently wanting a new laptop. Her Kindle broke a while ago, and she absolutely loves to read on it. She also loves the show 'I love Lucy', and has two collectable I love Lucy dolls.. So yeah! She also loves wreaths, like Christmas ones (They're about $150 and she likes to put that money into our tree/decorations instead. So she has never had the chance to buy it.).
My sister is into beauty/nails all of those type of things. She has moved into a new house and her boyfriend is moving in soon. Maybe all you nail/makeup lovers could give me ideas on what to get her? I'd like to spend under $75 for her.
For my best friend.. Well, like I said. We might be moving in only two months to Maine. I'd like to get her something but I'm stuck on what to get her. Any ideas, thanks?
Yup... Thanks for any help. :) Links would be lovely, by the way!

Get make-up gifts for your sister, like palettes, and such. Watch some beauty YouTube videos for ideas, because they always have good products.
Get an "I Love Lucy" box set for your mom, so all the seasons, I was going to say a doll but you already have that. If you go on sites like Amazon, and put I Love Lucy in the search box, you will get lots of gift ideas, and you can order them online.
I don't know about your best friend, maybe a jar with 365 reasons you love her? That sounds cool to me.

Was your mother's Kindle a black & white ereader or a Kindle Fire color tablet?
If it was an ereader, the Kindle Paperwhite is very very nice with touchscreen and built-in adjustable frontlighting. I usually keep the built in lighting down fairly low so the "paper" is about the same lightness as a hardcover book page. It can also be cranked up so the "paper" looks white but I usually only do that if I am reading in the dark or in dim light. I paid the $139 to get the Wifi one without ads ($119 w/ ads).
If you are in the US, this is the buying page (or best Buy may also have Paperwhite)
Paperwhite w/ Wifi (for people who have a Wifi network at home)

Above it you can see the $60 more expensive Paperwhite w/3G which can download books without WIfi
I've had 3 different Kindle models and all are still in use despite me dropping them because I use bulky but sturdy and protective zip-to-close Simplecase covers made by Grantwood. ($25 at Amazon for the current leather Simplecase for Paperwhite). If you get this I recommend releasing the two bottom corners of the Kindle from the stretch corners when charging (otherwise you'd have to angle the USB plug in and could bend the socket). if you tuck the zipper pulls at least partway into the spine of the case, then the cover can be folded all the way back (the leather is a bit stiff at first but loosens up). My Kindles have survived many drops in these cases including one from shoulder height to concrete.

All Kindle books your mom already got at Amazon are still on her account and can be sent individually to any new or old Kindle or Kindle reading app registered to her account. I do it from the Manage Your Kindle page (US link follows)
https://www.amazon.com/manageyourkindle
(If your mother's Kindle was a color tablet - Amazon has new models of those too, including some with a HELP button that will bring video of a live person onto the screen to help)
For your sister - Maybe she needs stuff for her new house. You can't pick makeup/nailpolish for someone else. You could offer to take her on a $200 shopping spree wherever she wants?
Does your best friend have a camera so she can send pictures of herself and stuff from her life to you when you move away?

Happy Thanksgiving to you too! I will go with another Kindle to replace her broken one.Kindle Fire HD 7" 8GB is selling for $139 on Amazon $169 for 16GB.Or if you want the Kindle Fire HDX which is about $200-something.Your sister,I am not into make-up but you can go to stores like JC Penney and ask the girls who works the make-up area.If she's into brands get her something from Cover Girl,Lancôme etc.Don't know if you can get gift certificate for these.Your best friend, something she will remember you by and that she can keep forever, maybe a small pair of earrings, necklace,a picture of the two of you printed in a mug, pretty purse. That's all I can think of.

While it's true that some t.v. programs are better at portraying and informing than catalogs, catalogs in themselves are a getaway. I personally would take a book over t.v.
