Why does God really do this?

I'm not sure exactly what you are going through right now but God thinks your life is precious. He is not going to give you more than you can handle. You know when you first get to be friends with someone and you wonder if that friend would stand beside you though good and bad times? But you can't know the answer to that until bad times happen. Don't you think God wants to know if we will stand beside him thru good and bad times? Taking your life sure doesn't scream out that you're standing strong for anybody. It's selfish. When l get down and don't feel troubles will ever end... I remember all the people in other countries and even in this country who will go to bed with their belly hurting because they are so hungry. I use to wish that i didn't have to walk home from school every day until i seen a girl with no legs. Know what i mean? Don't look at your life as just your life. Think of the ones who will miss you. God knows what he's doing. You're gonna be just fine. Besides, you are Gods child. If he quits chastising you then you would have something to worry about. Parents discipline their children when they need it. It makes a strong adult. Same with God. He's trying to say something to you. Are you listening.? Don't give up on God., and don't give up on you! Whatever you need...discernment, faith, wisdom., ask him for it. He wants you to ask. To prove that you need him. Good luck to you. God Bless.

You do know that you are not alone. Those who are really God's people face trials and tests like no other.

I spent the entire day in bed feeling depressed and at one point, I told Jehovah God that I was ready for him to take me away because I am so fed up and frustrated with this life but Psalm 55:22 in God's word the bible tells us "never will God allow the righteous one to fall".

The bible also reminds us that God wants us to endure these trials. If we do, we can prove to be like Job whom satan accused of only serving God because of his abundance but even when Job lost his family and ended up with leprosy, he kept serving God. Our faith will make us strong. We will get through this! We will suffer unbearably sometimes but Jehovah God is faithful and he tells us that after a little while of suffering that he will exalt us (1 peter 5:10) I love you whoever you are and I pray that whatever burden you are carrying that Jehovah God will lift it off soon!

What you just said I would disagree with. I don't think God takes people through pain, I believe that God gave human beings free will as a consequence many evils have arisen in the world. These evils are what causes you to feel as if you cannot carry on. However there are those who would agree with me.

My former youth group leader shot herself because she had an extremely painful degenerative nerve disease and couldn't afford insurance and didn't want to live in torture every day.

God doesn't exist. If he does, then he's a dick for putting her through that.

Please don't end your life! It seems so hopeless but there is hope.

Please, go to hospital emergency room & tell them that you want to kill yourself. This is not the way to go....you CAN get through this, but you need help. Consider the people on the other end, trying to help you an answer to your prayers if you want, but PLEASE get help.

Maybe to give you perspective of what you can handle and to make you stronger.
