My package has been stuck at customs in New York since October 4th?

Is there a number to call customs? I am having the same problem. My package has been in customs for over 30 days now. It is just a football jersey.

yes i ordered a telescope (but to and from different country) it was really big and heavy and expensive too.

15 days after it was at customs i got a letter saying that there is no invoice with the package and to provide the invoice to them at their address (it is in the foreign post office of my state) to clear the package, i went there provided them the invoice that i printed from the website, THEY OPENED AND INSPECTED THE PACKAGE WHILE I WAS THERE. and after 2-3 days package was delivered to me, i paid the duty at the local post office and collected the scope.

but that letter was just thrown to my address and that too after 15-20 days, i would recommend you to go to your foreign post office and ask them, the postal customs are there.

most of the times they dont keep anything for over 1 month, they usually auction the item then.

but give it a try.

You can go online,or if it's ebay let them know what the problem is,or if it isn't even ebay contact the customer support staff they can aim you in the right direction and what to do.lol.

You need to call them. You are most likely missing paperwork, such as a commercial bill of sale or there is duty to be paid.

I don't think you're going to get it. And they may never say why. Just call it a hunch. I've never had a similar experience.

eventually it will come if not being held for suspicion
