Where is the old Yahoo Stock Screener?

Long ago (1+ year) Finance.Yahoo a good stock screener that the user had to install (or perhaps just activate) in his computer.

Currently, I see only this screener, which is nothing close to the old one:

http://screener.finance.yahoo.com/stocks.html

Has the old one been removed? Or it's just me who cannot locate it?

That was not bad at all.

Update:

Actually, if I recall well, the old screener was a java script running on the user's computer.

Update 2:

Oscar:

Thanks so much! That's exactly the one I was looking for. I kindly suggest to add to the page http://screener.finance.yahoo.com/stocks.html a link to that.

    Hi Mambo,

That's the HTML version. I assume you're looking for the Java Stock Screener (which can't be access through navigating through the new Finance layout). In the meantime, check out the help article below for directions:

    I hope this helps!

    Yahoo Stock Screener Java

Yahoo has made the "stock screener" as useless as the new bulletin boards now called "conversation". Truly enjoyed the Yahoo stock screener since you could screen by the "recommendation rating" to get a fast feel if you could be interested in the stock enough to do more diligence.

What a useless waste of time the new stock screener is. Just like every other stock screener out there and just as poorly thought out. Congratulations Yahoo, no wonder you are in financial trouble.

Why would they change the best stock screener ever? Hordes of people came to Yahoo JUST to use their screener and spent considerable time here. I usually spend 2-4 hours a few times each year just to rebalance investments

With penny stocks you can make 30 percent or 40 percent profit in a few days. Learn here https://tr.im/pennystocktrading

The best strategy, if you do have experience type of return on a penny stock, is to sell the stock quickly.

Of course, it’s easier said than done. The natural thing to want when you see an increase in stock price is to hold the stock and hope for an even larger increase.

I miss that Java stock screener. It was far more relevant and had much more capability than the HTML screener.

So the Java script stock screener has been retired according to Yahoo. Thanks, Yahoo, you are now more irrelevant than ever. The HTML screener is useless to me. The one thing I thought they did better than any other free screener and they let it die.

It does not open. It gives me a funny message in a window that pops up. In other words, the Java based screener refuses to launch due to the lapsed security certification or agreement or something.
