Is my longbow the right size for me?

I have an old Stag conder recurve bow. It has 50#draw and is 5 feet in length. I'm 6'0. Just looking to shoot targets. Is it going to be a problem because of my height compared to the bows height? Will it do an okay job regardless?

Have you drawn it? Is it comfortable at full draw or does your arm fell restricted? The arm you hold the bow with should be fully extended, not yet locked at the elbow but once you pull back fully, you will be able to anchor your thumb on your face or front of the ear. If the bow is too short, your bow-arm won't be straight and your draw arm will be cramped. Even an inch too short or too long will feel wrong. The right length arrows for your arm is a must too. Hope this helps you decide.
