I have been trying to find volunteer work, but most hospitals offer cleaning/taking tests and that is about it. All I want to do is help people physically or mentally. I'm not in this for a paying job or career. I simply have compassion for other people. Being able to contribute to society this way would be amazing. I've done research on local hospitals, and i don't get anything. My favorite people to be around are EKG technicians.

Does anybody volunteer, but still be able to help a patient one on one in some way?

Any Ideas. Or suggestions would be great also, and if you need certificates regardless even if you are just volunteering. please let me know. I don't mind going to school for 2-3 years for volunteer work only. I chose to post this here instead of the community service category. Feel like there are more educated individuals in the health care category. .

I see in Apple Maps that it gives you routes. I drive back roads, and I'm not sure if I go a different direction other than a provided route that Apple Maps won't recalculate, and take me to where I'm going. As if it were to try and get me back on the route provided. Has anyone experimented with this? I'm going on a little trip tomorrow, and I know half of the way there. It isn't a choice in the routes.

I'm inserting a rubber grommet into a 2" hole in aluminum/aluminium piping. What's a good adhesive that will bond the rubber to the inlet size for a closed fit, and will be able to withstand up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit?Only asking here, because I don't want to get biased answers to steer me towards a product from a sales clerk.

I've been using one for the past week for cutting 2" holes in aluminum/aluminum piping. 2.5" OD However you prefer the word to be pronounced. Anyways. I clamp the pipes down. I'm using a steel drill bit and a hole saw for steel. I'm still lost on learning why the drill just jerks and spins out with my hand holding it. Almost as if it will snap my wrist. I have now tried using force to stop it now. It cut through my glove and then got to the wrist today. I need tips. I come from no use of tools other than the drill. Jigsaw and circular saw. Not experienced at all. No one to teach me the basics. What do I need to learn, and practice to prevent this from happening?

I have an old Stag conder recurve bow. It has 50#draw and is 5 feet in length. I'm 6'0. Just looking to shoot targets. Is it going to be a problem because of my height compared to the bows height? Will it do an okay job regardless?

I need to cut 1 inch circles in square pieces of aluminum. What saw or tool do I need to get to be able to cut circles in aluminum? And what attachments would I need to do so? I saw dremel saws, but I'm not sure what attachments to get. The thickest I would need to cut into is a 1/4 aluminum plate. Thank you

This is a question for example about a lantern.

Lanterns. I have noticed most of them are round. If I were to put a light in a cylinder that is only facing one direction. What shape would be better to reflect more light to the surrounding 360 degrees? Suppose it is like a car head light. The light is only going in one direction. So if I were to put that bulb in a enclosed shape facing one direction what shape would make it reflect light better for a full 360 degrees? If that is not possible to provide light. What could be added to refract light within the 360 degree enclosure with the light pointing in one direction?

I've been staying patient throughout this process. I have paid off a rwd coupe that was completely unnecessary for my lifestyle, and location. I was younger when I bought it, so tuning it was my main focus. Now that I'm older I've been trying to find a car that's more practical and smaller. Just a simple fwd or awd sedan. I've looked at imprezas, Saab 9-3. old bmw 3 series, audi a4, jetta dodge dart, and much more. That is to give you an idea for the size I'm looking for. Cars with small body's/Smaller and compact. I'm very picky, and this search has gone on for too long. Therefore, I am now impatient. I've visited many dealerships over the months. At least in the mid 20's. Throw me some suggestions here!

I took care of a stray dog for a straight two days. He was around 4 years of age. He spent all of his time with me. Slept with me. Followed me, and so on. I already have 3 dogs, but if they can't find a new home for him. I'll gladly take him. Anyways, he's been gone for 2 days. Has he forgotten about me now?

Where can I purchase ARC? I can't seem to find anything. Can it be purchased or is It something I have to make? I do not want to put it on glasses lenses.This is just for a project.
