Do you think that mental illnesses like ADHD, Depression, social anxiety should be labeled by laziness?
If so, do you think that there's no reason for laziness and that it just happens that way?
I don't think that way, I have ADHD myself I've just seen other people saying that it is just plain laziness. Don't worry, I never took medication.

Wow! To call people with these mental disorders, "lazy" is so wrong.
Unless you suffer from one or all of the above, I think you should keep your "opinions" to yourself.
I've worked with people who suffer each one of these illnesses, as a counselor and I know it goes far beyond laziness.
It's sad that people like you judge without knowing the hell these mental disorders put people through, it's not easy living with any of these disorders nor is it fun... being judged does not make it easier.
The best one can do is learn to understand them, support them and help them, but never judge them or label them.
Edit: I just read your edit, my apologies, I thought you were judging without knowing... it's still sad that people prefer to judge without knowing the truth, though.
I take great offense, having worked with them and also because my bf has ADD, he is a hard working, sweet man.. nothing lazy about him.
Cheers =)

My husband has social anxiety, and my son ADHD. My husband is the furthest thing from lazy, he just gets anxious and has panic attacks when there are too many people in one place. He can't control it. My son is also not lazy his ADHD frustrates him to no end. He wants to do his work and he is very smart, he is just physically unable to sit still and focus in a classroom environment. He is in the final stages of diagnosing and finding the right treatment. If you saw what some of these people go through in a day to just get by, you would not call them lazy. They would do it if they physically and mentally could. Don't judge what you don't know!

Recognizing the symptoms of anxiety is the first step to managing your anxiety and help your doctor determine if you may have some form of an anxiety disorder. Read here https://tr.im/iergc
There are groups of people that are specifically more prone to issues with anxiety, such as women, individuals who experience traumatic events, individuals who experience extreme stress or mental health disorders, or individuals with a history of alcohol and drug abuse.

My fiance has ADHD and he is one of the most hard working men I've ever known. The fact that you can simply just throw everyone with these illnesses into one group is absolutely disgusting. Not everyone who suffers from them is the same shame on you.

Hell no! I have all of these, and just because I do possess these does not mean that I am simply lazy. If someone is lazy, then they are simply lazy and are unmotivated. Just because someone has mental illnesses does not mean that they are truly lazy and all should be categorized as such.

I used to think depression was bull&#$% until i actually experienced it. I'm still not sure about ADHD, but social anxiety and depression... they suck big time. They can lead to laziness and incompetence if you use them as a crutch though.
GUILTY AS CHARGED, i'm sorry to say.
There's a lesson in here somewhere.
