Weird coincidences happening?

I've always had these weird coincidences happen every once in a while. Like, I've suddenly thought of a movie, and a couple of minutes later there'll be an ad for it on tv saying it'll be on some channel this weekend (and trust me, I didn't see the ad before, it was the first time I'd seen it). Thats happened about 3 times. There was this one time I was in yr 6 and I was thinking about that movie 'Sharkboy and Lavagirl' then I heard the classroom next door to us put it on and start watching it. Then today, I was thinking about a Christmas present for my friend, and I thought about how much she loved The Lion King, so I wanted to buy a stuffed toy Simba (she already owns the movie so I thought of something she didn't have), but I didn't think there were any Simba toys, until I read a Big W magazine and there was a Simba pillow pet in there. I swear I'd never seen catalogue before then. Does this ever happen to anybody else?

I suspect you are counting the hits and ignoring the misses, which outweigh the hits by orders of magnitude.

Every day, thousands of things happen to s person and they think thousands of thoughts. It's inevitable that sometimes they'll line up in such a way. It would be mathematically impossible for such coincidences to NOT happen.

It's coincidence and happens to all of us.

It's only significant because it happened at that special moment, but if it happened any other time you would think nothing of it.

Yes, this also happens to me and probably others.
