YahooGroup nonmember visibility?

First, I notice that a nonmember can see the attachments that are connected to the emails to the yahoogroup. That's strange. Can that be fixed.

Second, I would like to make it possible for nonmembers to see the Files and/or photos. This is not possible now for a moderator to select that. Can that be fixed?

Third, it used to be possible for the moderator to add a member. Many of my members are not technical enough to navigate the usual groupname-subscribe@yahoogroups.com method. Can this be brought back?

Thanks.

    Hi Dave,

Attachments would only be visible if the messages themselves are visible to non-members or were set as such when that email with an attachment was sent (which means it probably got cached in a search engine and can now be found by searching).

The areas you're requesting non-member access to have never been accessible by non-members. We have no current plans to change this as it's a privacy issue.

Lastly, the add member function was removed back in June and we have no current plans to bring it back due to the abuse reports we dealt with when this was a feature previously.

Sorry we can't be of more help. Please know this area is for question about issues with the product, not feedback. Feedback about the product and what you'd like to see changed should be provided directly to our product team here:
