I am into Macs and I need a laptop. What are the pros and cons of buying a Macbook v. the Air v. the Pro?
I have a 13 in. Macbook but it's on its last legs. I want something else that lets me play videos/movies, listen to music, create iMovies, serf, and obviously be mobile enough to slip into a backback.

Air: light, fast, does everything you need. 12 hour battery
Pro: a tiny bit heavier but MUCH more powerful. Mostly for editing and heavy software usage. Not essential for what you listed. It's not slack at all. 9 hour battery.

The Mac Pros are basically bigger, heavier and more robust, they are usually more powerful too. Having said that they are still a pretty slim and slick design. The mac airs are the cheaper alternative basically, with less grunt and are smaller and lighter.
You can go to the Apple store and press buy now and you can choose your model and specifications before you decide.
