Can I be hired as a corrections officer if I had depression?

Over ten years ago I struggled with mild depression while in the military. It has not reoccurred and I have a bachelors degree in criminal justice with an excellent work history.

You will take a psychological as well as a physical exam before you are hired.

As well as the drug test , background check, and maybe a lie detector test. I hated that myself.

You will be fingerprinted with the prints sent to the FBI, seriously.

Most Correctional agencies like to hire former military personnel, if they were honorably discharged.
