It <<is>> possible to walk without swinging your arms. You have probably done it many times yourself. Put your hands in you pockets and walk somewhere. Not hard to do. Or, pick something up with both hands. Do you swing your arms when carrying something in both hands? Nope.
It is a natural tendency to swing them in opposition to the leg motion. It helps to balance the forces involved and allow us to be better balanced, but is it NOT an absolute requirement.

it is possible... I have done it !!... People do it naturally since the body needs to balance the back and forth motion of the legs... it is Newton's law, see... hee hee... :0)
