In reply to your topical question one is reminded of the old adage "don't put off till tomorrow, what you can do today" which suggests that there be no suspension of hypocrisy from any denomination squabbling over "much ado about nothing".
Bash away.

Sandy, if it wasn't idolatry, I'd worship the ground you stagger across. Best answer *ever* to the age-old Protestant dilemma of "How can we get away with hypocrisy and not get caught?"
The Nativity scene owes its origins to the live crèche that St. Francis of Assisi created in the year 1223. He wanted to inspire a deeper devotion to the Infant Jesus and the Holy Family:

So yes, the Nativity scene is one more thing that Protestants have appropriated from Catholicism. I guess it's OK to have religious statues as long as you're not Catholic.

Quiz, I don't know of any Catholics who worship the church statues. Same difference here.

There is no biblical rule against OWNING statues. There is a rule against WORSHIPPING them. I dont now of anyone who worships their nativity scene.

"Christians" don't "bash" "catholics, and I assume you mean the RCCs, which are a Christian denomination.
