What is the concern in this poem" A Friend and Healer"?

"To wander in your eyes where nothing lives

And find the pain you keep so close to you

The heart you have has emptiness to give

The color of the world your in is blue "

Inspiring and masterfully written.

that you continue thoughout the entirety

of this moving poem.

A syllable flow that frames so beautfully

the message to follow. You introduce the

color blue, with all it's metaphorical implication,

like a tinted mist that infuses the flawless

flow of movement through this composition.

The loneliness and pain...suffered in silence.

You choose to change meter in your closing

couplet...

This change only emphasizes

the emotion of finality for the reader.

A touching, captivating

soothingly flowing poem of melancholy.

A poem to keep, return to and re-read.

The concern is found in the one who is looking into the blue eyes,

seeing the emptiness that comes when one numbs themself to

all the pain and heartbreak they have with stood, only to find nothing

left to give.

it is the hope of that observer to instill some feeling back into that heart

but

I may be dead wrong.

It is frightening to lose that which you speak of here, when once flowing emotions freeze up and snowdrifts bury the evidence of warmth. The thoughts behind this are like the first thawing of Spring.

To be a healer or accepted as such, one must be healed first. In this case, it doesn't seem the case, good poem however.

I am ready to be there for you even though your cold heart is currently inaccessible. Very poignantly stated commitment.
