What type of bird was this?
From what I remember it was rather large owl and very colorful for an owl. It's wings were reddish and I think it might not have been a true owl, nor a barn owl, if I remember correctly. Just wondering.

If it was an owl then it was a Barn Owl, if not it sounds like it could be a Red Tailed Hawk.
