I'm a bit of a sarcastic asshole with ego problems. So, by and by, the average YA! user. Message me if you want, but I check my email like weekly so don't expect instant response.

  • Who proved 2+2=4?

What scientist essentially proved that math was not a concept, but actually existed as a law and that 2+2 really did equal four and not just as a concept. I remember that he essentially went insane after his discovery, his friends saying he never was the same after the discovery.

  • Should I tutor this 3rd grader?

I found an ad at my college asking for a tutor for an third grader in Reading, English, and Writing. When I called the mother was really excited and wants to meet me, however both my parents are extremely against it saying I'm not mature enough, qualified, and I should focus on my studies. However I'm trying become more independent, and really want to. Also, the childs mother has had a stroke (as she repeatedly explained to me) and also lost her husband, which she blames for childs lacking grades, and is obviously a little out of it. Also, if I did, what would I charge since it's three subjects and a 3rd grader?

  • Which State passed this law?

During Civil War times an radical abolitionist governor, I believe, decided to make it illegal for slaves and slavers to actually enter this state, and if they did the slave was immediately freed.

  • How did friendly Christians react in Spanish War against Muslims?

Like in Granada the Christians and Jews living there with the Muslims were all on pretty good terms and were friendly with one another until the Granada War started. Did the Christians that were friends with the Muslims and Jews help them protect the City against the Spaniards, try to remain neutral, or did they just completely turn on the Muslims and help Ferdinand?

  • What to do if girl thinks she's bad for me?

Me and my friend both like each other, however she refuses to date because she says that I'm innocent and kind (my parents shelter me so I don't go to parties or drink underage or anything) and she's "poison" and "bad for me", saying that she'll just end up hurting me cause she's "not a good girl". I tried telling her I don't care, but she doesn't listen. How do I even argue with this?

  • What type of bird was this?

From what I remember it was rather large owl and very colorful for an owl. It's wings were reddish and I think it might not have been a true owl, nor a barn owl, if I remember correctly. Just wondering.

  • I got a 490 on English on the SAT, however I only wrote 3 sentences on the Essay.?

I had gotten writers block on the essay and only managed to write down 3 sentences, and it was scored with a 1 and an 2. I'm wondering what I probably would have gotten on English if I had actually made a decent, around average essay?

  • Does Children's Bureau get involved in child murder?

I know that most cops use children's bureau when they are investigating crimes involving child abuse or sexual assault, and usually use them when they are trying to get information from a child, but are they used during a child murderer case, or is that strictly Homicide/FBI?

  • Does China even have fighting kites?

I've been reading and the main ones mentioned are Indian, Japanese, and Brazilian. I know that Wikipedia says they're called volantins but after looking that up I got nothing, just Indian kites. This seems strange since Chinese invented kites, and would not practice kite flying, which would take extreme skill and discipline, something they looked for at that time.

  • What is it called when you do this?

It's when you kick a person by jumping at him with both feet in the air, and upon hitting you land on your back.

  • Should I message girl stopped talking too 5 months ago?

Well I met this girl online, and we got along really well and eventually we exchanged numbers and eventually she came onto me, and one thing led to another, and we eventually exchanged pics and such. But the next day she didn't text me and didn't respond to any my texts and eventually admitted she regretted everything we did, and really didn't want talk me anymore. This was like five months ago though, so I was wondering should I just message hi?

  • Gf not responding after break...?

Firstly, the break we took wasn't due to relationship problems but because my only phone with her number broke and my mom threw it out before I could back it up, and we're kinda far from one another. But luckily due to ingenuity I managed to get it back, but unfortunately we weren't able to talk at all for the majority of the Summer and she wants start from beginning while I wanted to start left off. Now three days ago we were texting and joking, and my phone died so we couldn't say good night (I was at a friend's with no charger), so I texted her the next day but she didn't respond, so I gave her a day so I wouldn't seem clingy and just texted her an hour ago, and still no response, andshe usually will respond immediately, or not at all. Now this isn't the first time I've fallen asleep/my phone has died on her during conversations, so I'm stumped on what it is...

  • Should I wait for her to text me?

Well I've been friends with this girl for a while, but I haven't been able to text her. Well now I can, and we texted yesterday and day before. The first day went great, and she made hints she liked me, I think. But yesterday I texted her and we chatted a little, but she kept not responding, and I would send another text 30 minutes to a few hours later and she would respond. Should I just wait for her to initiate it this time?

  • Are there laws to stop this sort of thing?

I was reading of a scenario where a child lost both his parent's and that all their money was left to him, however he was around 10 at the time so he was sent to a guardian and she was also to handle the child's funds, but she instead spent it all on herself, until there was nothing left. Now I know this has to be illegal, but what would if fall under?

  • Why did God punish the Israelites for showing mercy?

I don't remember which tribe it was, but it was when the Israelites were going to destroy a city that God had commanded them, and during their travel they came across a traveling, peaceful tribe. So the Israelites traded with them, or harbored them, or something of sort, and allowed them on their way andleft on good terms. Then God came and said he was mad because he said to slay every tribe, but they let this one live, and he punished or left them, something like that. So the Israelites searched and found tribe, beheaded their leader, and prayed God but he refused to help still. I thought he valued mercy, but why get upset when they show it?

  • Is there any chance of getting back crush?

I met this girl online and we exchanged numbers, and we started joking around, then she mentioned she would love for me to see her bed, and I tried playing it off, but she insisted and it led to sexting, etc...Anyways, I texted her the next day and she ignored me for most of the week, and confronted me when she realized I was consistently looking at her profile on the site we met (I told friends I was depressed a girl I knew was ignoring me, and they wanted to see what she looked like), saying it was obvious I liked her more than I should. I pointed out that she was the one who came onto me, and how was it my fault, and she said it wasn't but she regretted doing what we did, so I said I didn't want her to be uncomfortable, but would like to remain friends, but it was her choice, and that's the last time I heard from her...I know it's over but I can't stop thinking about her, even though we never even met. Is there anything I can do?

  • Why is this girl ignoring my texts?

We started talking on a dating site (meetme) a couple days ago, and she seemed really interested, and we exchanged numbers. Then while texting, we decide meet next day, and she says she'd love me see her bed. And then we started talking bout sex, sexting, etc, etc. But the next day I text her and she doesn't respond so I wait 4 hours and try again still no response. At night though I go on site and find out she had logged off four minutes before I got on, via phone. And one of her posts was "I can't believe I just did that". What went wrong?

  • What Russian Shuttle was sent immediately after Apollo 11 and crashed?

And why would they send the guy on an essential suicide mission, knowing his rocket more than likely won't make it, just for the possibility of a tie?
