Acne Problems. Started when I took Medication. Any help really appreciated, Thanks!?
I had a concussion with bleeding so I went to the ER and the doctor who took care of me prescribed me Dexamethasone which is a steroid, he said to take it for a month which I did. During which I had the worst acne breakouts, just....acne everywhere. Before I took that specific Medication I had always been lucky to have really clear skin.
During which I was having bad acne breakouts I was working out in the sun without using SUN SCREEN!! which I know now doesn't help acne and can lead to acne scars as a result which I now have. It's been two years so they'ree almostt cleared up.
My mom is from South America and when I went to vacation there my aunt who is some sort of Skin person who does Facials. She would use this tool that felt like she was stabbing me with a knife, I believe she was using it to pop the pimples or whatever. Then she would put this solution that I think was used to help fade the dark marks. I've noticed that there are little holes in my skin now and this upsets me because I feel like she did an unprofessional job.
I have pimples that are just hanging aroundd and don't seem to be going away, they're tiny ones but they're is a bunch. When I touch my cheeks I can feel them more then I can see them. I've tried using facial products from CVS like St IVes, Clearasil, and Nutrogena but it just doesn't seem to be getting the job done and it's not a seriouss case of acne but I really want my skin to be back to it's original form. Just a bunch of little pimples that arn't so so noticeable but would really like them to go away...and some minor acne scars.
Should I see a Dermatologist or Aesthetician ( which I'm guessing is someone who does Facials)? Someone with Experience.
Thanks guys! It's beeen a trip trying to get back into the state I was in before this concussion and I really just want things to go back to regular.

When the pimple applies sulfur, it is cured.
At first you order powdery sulfur at a drugstore.
Mix sulfur and water (it is good to add ointment) in a medicine bottle if you obtain it.
Use a thin stick and apply sulfur to a face.
When you go out, apply not thinly conspicuous.
Since sulfur absorbs oil, pus is absorbed.
And yellow of sulfur covers redness.
In addition, there is the restoration effect of the pimple trace because there is a peeling effect to sulfur.
You avoid sunlight.
At the time of face-wash, do not rub it.
However, skin will be dried if sulfur is applied.
Make the scar of a pimple thin by metabolism over years, applying and hiding sulfur liquid.

It might be that the steroids encouraged candidiasis. You have both bacteria and fungi in your stomach to help you digest food (along with acid and other stuff). If something happens that causes some of the bacteria to die, the fungi will take over, instead, and there are other conditions which also promote fungal overgrowth. Steroids can be one of them.
The fungi make byproducts from digesting your food that can be bad for you. Think about the alcohol that yeast produce in fermentation. Yeast is one kind of fungus. The bad byproducts get into your bloodstream and can cause health problems, including acne.
Now that you are off of the steroids, you can try to restore the bacteria and reduce the fungi by going for a while not eating sugars or refined carbohydrates, by eating plenty of garlic and onions, and eating plenty of green leafy vegetables. Don't drink any alcohol for a while, either, if that's something you do. And try to find places in your diet where you can exchange greek yogurt in place of sour cream. For instance, one way to include both onions and greek yogurt in your diet is to make dip using onion soup mix.
Candidiasis may not be the cause, but that was my thought when you said steroids and long term acne after having clear skin. Good luck.
