Would you go to heaven if u kill yourself?

People think they know, but truly.. Nobody knows what happens after you die. Until someone comes back from the dead, that's when people will know what truly happens.

I know what it feels like to want to kill yourself, in fact, I wish I was dead. If only God would've shown me what my life was going to be like while I was still in my mom's stomach. I wish we all had a choice. To live, or to die. If I would've known my life would have ended up this way, I would've told God to kill me then. I just find it a bit unfair that we're forced to suffer with depression, cancer, and any other disease or horrible thing you can think of... it's so painful... yet we're supposed to "be strong" and if we kill ourselves we're "selfish", and will get sent straight to hell.... I can understand how it's selfish because of the people you're hurting that care about you, but... you're gonna die sometime anyways! What does it matter if it's sooner than the day you were originally going too?

Oh well, there's quite a bit I don't understand, and I probably never will..

I think that there two types of suicide. I have tried to kill myself twice. The first time, I had no control over my mind. Satan completely took my free will away to where I wasn't thinking clearly, and I didn't have a choice. Satan used mind control to get what he wanted. WE HAVE TO HAVE FREE WILL!

Now another time, I took some pills. I had a chance to decide for myself whether or not to take those pills. I chose to take the pills, but I didn't die. I am forgiven and am thankful that Jesus died so that I don't have to be punished. Isaiah 53:5 says, But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed. Thank You Jesus. This tells me that it is a sin. It's a conscious sin.

Only God knows the answer. I will say this, today I feel different than I did when I wanted to die. I praise God for your question because it feels good to talk about things. Thank you for helping me get my secret out. It doesn't feel good to keep secrets. I thank God for you, that you care so much about Jesus. You are encouraging me because you care so much about going to heaven.

Hmmmm... Thought about that before and I think maybe... Depending on if you were a priest or a henchman or if you killed yourself by accident or not. It's still suicide if its an accident I think cuz you're killing yourself... I don't know but I think so..?

I'm not religious but I had a loved one who committed suicide and I was very grieved by it. During that time I must've talked to clergy members of many sects and alas, they told me my loved one was in Hell. Basically their argument was that my loved one commited murder and since it was their own, they can't be forgiven.

Saint Paul listed Samson as one of the believers. Samson killed himself. So, yes, that too is forgiven.

Killing yourself is murder. Your body does not belong to you, but to God who has given it to you. Your body must be treated as a temple. God gives, God takes. Killing yourself also shows an act of not putting your trust in Jesus.
