What is this white sore on the inside of my lip?

http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=white+lip+sore... It looks a lot like that, but only 1. I was told that it might a canker sore (what ever that is) as i like to eat citrusy foods and chew on my pens after they they split apart.

    It is a canker sore. That is something at occurs when there is a tear in the mucous membrane inside your mouth, and acid hits it, increasing bacteria production and causing a slight infection. They are painful but they go away in a couple of days. One way to speed up the recovery process from it (and it hurts, but it works) is to apply salt onto it and wait for the salt to dissolve. It isnt anything serious, just lower the amount of acidic foods you eat and you should be fine.

    It's a canker sore. I had one years ago and my dentist prescribed an astringent mouth wash taken at least 4 times a day and held in the mouth for a full minute. It worked.
