Would it be discriminatory if only non-consensual marriages were legal?

If so, why is it not discriminatory when only consensual marriages are legal?

Update:

Re: "Yea um...... your not showing us how gay marriage is wrong."

That's because that's not what the question is about.

Update 2:

Re: "Consenting adults shouldn't be told with whom they can and can't get a government-issued certificate of relationship."

Even though that is not what this question is about, I will bite -- so you think I should be able to marry my father?

You seem to have stumbled on the center of the issue: consent.

That's why there isn't any great demand to marry children and animals from non-barbarians, because we understand what consent means.

Consenting adults shouldn't be told with whom they can and can't get a government-issued certificate of relationship.

Yea um...... your not showing us how gay marriage is wrong.

If you're against gay marriage then you're against equal rights, sorry that's the cold hard truth.

If you and your father want to i don't care. Incest is legal in some states. Just don't let it negatively effect others.
