My (Little Dog) is very clingy?

I go to work in the morning and he goes off, because I'm leaving him, he has the cat to play with, he starts yapping as soon as I get out of the shower, when I put my shoes on it's full on, he is a wonderful little boy, he just frets. Any ideas would be appreciated, thank you

Some dogs have a kind of anxiety or need to be around people. My dog is obsessed with my boyfriend. He stares at him, sleeps next to him, follows him, whines for him if he leaks the room. He shows more love to my boyfriend than anybody else. Your dog probably feels protected and loved when he's with you. I would take him for long walks or keep him shut in a room with his bed a few toys and a bit of food and water little by little each day and when you let him out, give him a little treat

Take him for a long walk before you leave him and try to get home at lunch time. If this is not possible, pay a dog walker to take him out twice during the day.

You have to talk to him, explain you're going out to get the doggy food,

to pay for a nice place but you won't be very long. Tell the doggy

how much fun you're going to have.

He'll still be a little anxious, feeling abandoned...

Probably I'd only feed him once I'm ready to leave...
