Candle safety device?
My mother in law had a fire at her house from a candle that was left to close to clothing.since then I have searched extensively for a product that prevents this and cant find anything that would keep a candle atleast 12 inches from anything, like a container for it? Maybe im missing something?

The best thing to do is to use LED candles which give a realistic candle effect but without the flame so they are safe.

Get a candle holder or a lantern: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/categories/depar...
As long as there is no ventilation or draft that will cause the flame to lean towards one direction, and as long as you don't leave the candle burning in the closet, you should not have any problems.
