Are People entitled to a friendly atmosphere when they fellowship about Religion in this section?

This is a site for questions and answers, cupcake, not for "fellowshipping." If all you do is "fellowship" without attempting to either answer or ask questions, or if you behave as though only people who believe as you do belong here or have value, then the atmosphere might become a bit frostier than you would like.

That depends on how they present their questions and answers.

People have to realise that their religion is not the only one represented here. They also have to realise that there are nonreligious people here.

If religious people present polite, intelligent, well thought out questions and answers then yes, they should be able to expect a friendly response.

If people post thoughtless or insulting material, I reserve the right to be less than polite in my responses.

Respect is earned. Period.

You're entitled to a "Friendly Atmosphere" when the group, cult, culture, or whatever you're "Felowshipping" about isn't one of the largest sources for bigotry, hate, war, and evil in the world.

It's an open forum, but there are guidelines (which you should have read to be using this forum). The guidelines are specific about courtesy.

Repeated nastiness is usually reported, and offenders can get suspended.

Polite yes. Friendly. No. As soon as you post on here you must be prepared for all shades of opinion.

Certainly, and it is proof of Bad Will and Evil Intent to come into a forum dedicated to R&S as if it were a fool thing to even discuss it. If so, they should NOT BE HERE.
