can two vlans have the same subnet?

Have issue where I'm making two vlans for two departments. Both departments have 30 hosts therefore both when VLSM kicks in will go under the same subnet. But both departments need to be under a different vlan

Will it be physically possible to have this done?

The Subnet MASK can be the same for both VLANS. The actual subnet(work) would be different.

    VLAN 1 = 192.186.1.0 to 192.168.1.31 (with 192.168.1.1-192.168.1.30 as usable for hosts)

    VLAN 2 = 192.168.1.32 to 192.168.1.63 (with 192.168.1.33-192.168.1.62 as usable for hosts)

Both VLANS would have a subnet mask of 255.255.255.224
