No. SSI (Supplemental Security Income) is the federal welfare program. It only pays benefits to people who are blind, disabled or over age 64. It does not pay benefits for minor children unless they are blind or disabled.
Only social security pays benefits for minor children and SSI isn't social security. Unlike SSI social security is an earned benefit - meaning that a person worked and paid social security taxes long enough to become entitled to a benefit.
You are receiving all that you are entitled to.

No. When you become disabled and receive SSI it is only you who receives benefits. Your children receive nothing. It would have been different had you been receiving SSDI.
The consequence of not paying into the system is not getting anything out. Had you worked before you had children, or while you had young children before being disabled you would have qualified for SSDI in lieu of or in addition to SSI. Than your children would have received benefits.

No, SSI does not have a dependent benefit like SSDI does. SSI is basicallly welfare for those who are disabled but never paid in or worked enough to get SSDI, and it covers only the disabled person. That being said however, you should have qualified for public assistance (AFDC, TANF) for the children.

Your children get a benefit only if you have SSDI which is permanent federal disability. You probably only get SSI because you have children to qualify you.

Nope. If you receive SSI, there are no dependent benefits given. You only receive benefits for your children if you receive SSDI.

No. You should have been a responsible parent and had your baby's daddy pay child support. You should have went to court and made sure that it was legally necessary if he was a deadbeat dad.
